Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of starlitinsights.com (the “Site”) and any consultation booked through it (the “Service”), operated by Starlit Insights (“we”, “us”, “our”). By booking a consultation you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these terms.

1. The product we sell

We sell exactly one product: a one-to-one Vedic astrology (Jyotisha) consultation, delivered remotely by audio call at a time you select. There are no other products, packages, subscriptions or add-ons.

The session is 15 minutes for bookings made in India and 30 minutes for bookings made elsewhere. The price and duration that apply to you are displayed on the booking page before you pay, and are the ones that govern your booking.

2. How it is prepared

The reading is prepared in advance from the birth details and the short note you supply when booking. Planetary positions are computed from Swiss Ephemeris data using the Lahiri ayanamsha, and interpreted through classical Parashari method.

Consultations are offered for reflection, self-understanding and perspective on timing. They are interpretive in nature and provided on an “as is” basis.

3. Scope and limitations

• A consultation is not professional advice of any kind, and is never a substitute for guidance from a qualified practitioner in matters of health, law, finance or personal wellbeing.
• We do not provide readings concerning health outcomes, lifespan, or serious personal difficulty, and will politely decline such requests.
• We do not guarantee any specific outcome, result or benefit.
• No consultation should be used as the sole basis for a significant life decision. Responsibility for your decisions remains entirely your own.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to book. Where a consultation concerns another person, you confirm you have their consent to share their birth details.

5. Booking

A booking is confirmed once payment is received and a slot is selected on the calendar. You will be asked for your date of birth, time of birth, place of birth, and a short note describing what you would like the reading to cover. Accurate birth details are essential; we cannot be responsible for a reading affected by incorrect information supplied to us.

6. Fees and payment

The fee is ₹500 for bookings in India, and US$60 for bookings from outside India. It is payable at the time of booking. Payment confirms your slot and begins the preparation of your chart. We do not collect, process or store card, UPI or bank details at any point; those are handled entirely by our payment provider under its own terms and security standards.

Indian bookings are processed by Razorpay. Bookings from outside India are processed by PayPal in US dollars (US$60). If your card or bank account is denominated in another currency, your bank or card issuer applies its own conversion rate and any foreign transaction fee it charges. Those bank charges are outside our control and are not refundable by us.

7. Your responsibilities

• Supply accurate and complete birth information.
• Attend at the scheduled time, or cancel or reschedule in advance.
• Conduct yourself respectfully during the consultation.
• Not record, reproduce or redistribute any part of a consultation without our written consent.

8. Our right to decline

We may decline a booking, or end a consultation in progress, where a request falls outside the scope set out in section 3, where conduct is abusive, or where we believe continuing would not be in your interest. In such cases no fee is payable.

9. Intellectual property

All content on the Site — text, design, calculations, code and interactive tools — is owned by Starlit Insights. You may read it and share links to it. You may not copy, republish or use it commercially without written permission.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability in connection with a consultation shall not exceed the fee actually paid for that consultation. We shall not be liable for indirect or consequential loss of any kind.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. The version published on the Site when you book is the version that applies to that booking.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh.
